Current Projects

TUB Teaching 2.0: Teachers´Diagnostics

A crucial factor for inclusive teaching is the teachers' diagnostic competence. In teacher education, case-based learning approaches are increasingly used to train teachers, as they are also known from medicine, law and psychotherapy. The aim of this research project is to develop a case-based learning opportunity for student teachers and to test it with a model of diagnostic competence. The research will provide insight into which components of diagnostic competence promote learning with case vignettes.

Well-Being in Social Distance

Due to the Corona pandemic, most university and school students spent the largest part of the past year in social distance to peers, friends and teachers. We want to find out how this unfamiliar situation impacted well-being and behavior.
